Mike Van Bruinisse Senior Vice President of Americas Sales and Business Development Mike Van Bruinisse currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Americas Sales and Business Development for CipherTrust. He is responsible for the overall revenue growth, strategic alliance direction and sales leadership for CipherTrust Americas. In November 2001, Van Bruinisse launched the business side of CipherTrust, leading the company to the preeminent position in the application security market, growing revenue exponentially and reaching quarterly profitability in his first year. Prior to joining CipherTrust, Van Bruinisse was Vice President of Sales and later President of the network security innovator, Lancope. Van Bruinisse was responsible for bringing in the company's first key reference customers, partnerships, and successfully led Lancope in receiving several offers of venture capital funding by proving the market viability, rapid sales growth and customer acceptance in less than one year. Previous to working for Lancope, Van Bruinisse was a Sales Director at Sun Microsystems, launching IPlanet ecommerce systems for Sun in the Southeastern US in 1999. Prior to Sun, he has a history of sales leadership, having started the eastern region sales team for NetDynamics (purchased by Sun in 1998) and closing key deals for Logic Works which helped fuel a successful IPO in 1995.
