Jeff Lake
Vice President of Federal Operations
Jeff Lake is responsible for the sales, business, and technical operations of CipherTrust's Federal team. In this role, he has led the Federal team to consecutive record quarters in their customer acquisition and revenue building efforts, adding key customers in major DoD and civilian agency areas. In his previous role as Vice President of Field Operations, Lake has made significant contributions to CipherTrust in building and leading the sales engineering and professional services teams, as well as providing key input on product direction and strategy.
With more than 15 years of technology experience, Lake has held several leadership positions in sales, consulting and operations. Prior to joining CipherTrust, Lake served as Vice President of Sales Operations at Lancope, responsible for managing initiatives focused on sales engineering, configuration manufacturing, and technical support. Earlier in his career, Lake was appointed to managerial positions at leading software companies, including Oracle, SilverStream Software, LogicWorks, Inc. and PowerSoft, Inc. In 1996, Lake joined Oracle as a Sales Consulting Manager and became a Director of the North American Development Tools Product Sales Organization. Under his leadership as a Regional Technical Director at SilverStream Software, the Southeast ranked first among the company's global business units in 2000 product sales.
Lake was a commissioned U.S. Army Military Intelligence officer and has a B.S. from Bryant University.
