Guru Rajan Chief Architect Guru Rajan currently serves as Chief Architect for CipherTrust. With more than 16 years of experience in technology development and engineering, Rajan is responsible for driving the evolution of the secure e-mail architecture of the company's product offering. Rajan's expertise in product development and architecture allows for not only continued innovation, but also enduring enterprise class performance of CipherTrust technologies. Since joining the company in March 2000, Rajan has created six patents for CipherTrust. Prior to joining CipherTrust, Rajan served as senior technical architect for S1, the largest Internet banking ASP. Through his role at S1, Rajan was instrumental in designing the world's first internet banking operation, and consequently received the Smithsonian Award for the Most Unique Product for the Banking Industry in 1996. Prior to that, he served as senior solution architect at NextGen Si. With key interests in the research area of parallel processing architecture, Rajan is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He also is a member of the Indian Professional Network. Rajan holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Madurai University in India and an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Andhra University, also in India. Back
